Rebecca Byrd

Beginnings
Rebecca, “Becky,” grew up in the West Texas town of El Paso. She comes from a public servant/ law enforcement background, as her father and uncles served as State Troopers. After moving to Arlington she met her husband, Bruce, and the two got married when Becky was only 19! The Byrds have lived in Johnson County since 1986. The small town feel of Burleson was just what they were looking for to raise their family. Bruce and Becky have been married for 43+ years and have four grown children and six grandchildren. After working in the public school system for 20 years, she decided to change careers and pursue her passion for real estate and helping people find their dream home.

Work & Skills
Becky loves helping people! She truly listens to their wants and needs, working very hard to find them the home they are looking for. She is a multi-tasker and detail oriented person. Becky learned a lot from her husband’s background as a general contractor, which helps a great deal when it comes to spotting potential issues in a home. Honesty and integrity are of utmost importance to her. Becky’s goal is to establish long-standing relationships with each and every client.

Priorities
Becky enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, grilling in the backyard with family, and dining out in Old Town Burleson. Becky and Bruce like to take trips to Mexico and the Hill Country. Her loves include meeting new people, a good winery, the beach and baseball. In fact, she used to work security for the Texas Rangers, including during the World Series in 2010 and 2011! Becky attends Open Door Church in Burleson and volunteers at the Open Door Food Bank.
