Beginnings
Jim Buxton was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and has spent the majority of his life in North Texas. Graduating from Lamar High School in Arlington, Jim delved into college courses focused on electronics before embarking on a fulfilling career journey. Starting at a major telecom systems manufacturer in Irving, he honed his skills in various roles, gaining invaluable experience in client support and contract negotiation which seamlessly translates into his current role in real estate. A devoted father of four, Jim currently resides in Crowley, TX with his wife and their beloved cat, Taylor.

Work & Skills
Jim’s background in sales and customer service roles laid the groundwork for his transition into real estate as a REALTOR®. With experience spanning various positions such as Product Manager, Sales Engineer, and Help Desk/Call Center Engineer, he is able to offer a high level of support to his clients. Committed to staying informed about industry developments, he regularly pursues continuing education courses focused on real estate. Jim’s experience and dedication guarantees consistent delivery of top-notch service, making him a trusted ally in every real estate transaction.

Priorities
For Jim, family always comes first, with any activity involving his kids taking top priority. He’s committed to staying fit through regular workouts and finds joy in his musical pursuits, playing guitar, keyboards, bass, and drums. Whether writing and recording in his home studio or collaborating with other artists, music remains his passion and escape. Jim also actively works on engaging with his community, aiming to make a positive impact wherever he can.
