Mardi Gras Ball
Get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant colors, lively music, and the spirit of New Orleans right here in BTX. Bring your little ones to our annual family dance at the BRiCk on February 3. The festivities will include dinner, dancing, games, and memories that last a lifetime. Dress in your masquerade ball finest! Mardi Gras 5k
The Mardi Gras 5K is an adult only run at our Cleburne Golf Links. Come help us celebrate Mardi Gras by running the 5k route on the golf course. After the race join us for drinks, king cake and delicious Cajun from local food trucks or burgers from the Cleburne Golf Links grille.

Celebrate Black History Month with Opal Lee
Fort Worth native Opal Lee will be in Burleson on February 17 from 10 am to noon to celebrate Black History Month. Hear from Mrs. Lee during a one-on-one moderated discussion and get signed copies of her children's book afterward. The Burleson Public Library and Parks and Recreation Department will provide programming for all ages.
Copies of her children's book, "Juneteenth: A Children's Story," will be available for purchase; $25 for paperback or $45 for hardcover.

Celebrate National Love Your Pet Day at Applebee's in Burleson and make a difference in the lives of our furry friends at the Burleson Animal Shelter! 15% of all sales (excluding tax and alcohol) will be donated to the Burleson Animal Shelter. Your contribution will help provide essential care, support, and resources for the animals awaiting their forever homes. Together, we can make a positive impact on their lives.
