The Spring Carnival

The 2024 Spring Carnival in the parking lot of The Depot at Cleburne Station is just around the corner. The Carnival will be open from Thursday thru Sunday, April 4th.
All-Day Wristbands are available for $30 or each ride costs between 2 and 5 tickets with each ticket costing $1 (Yes, the All-Day Wristband is the best value.)

Yappy Hour

It’s Yappy Hour Time!  Bring your favorite furry friend to the vineyard for a special night of fun.

Burleson Animal Shelter will be there with adorable adoptables ready for a fur-ever home to call their own. Hug a pup while you listen to live music by Chris Osborne in the vineyard.  Texas Mac & Cheese will be making thing cheesy with mac & cheese balls & meals.  The tasting room will be serving up delicious Texas wine and charcuterie, paninis, flatbreads and snacks.

Show Me How Festival

The Show Me How Festival is back and it's gonna be awesome! Picture this: Texan artisans showing off their cool skills right in front of you, delicious food to munch on, live music to groove to, and tons of unique stuff to buy. It's gonna be a blast for the whole fam!

Solar Eclipse Watch Party

Join in the plaza for the Solar Eclipse Watch Party! There will be educational vendors, yard games, Jeremiah's Italian Ice and music from DJ T-Aye. This event is hosted by Explore Burleson, Burleson Parks and Recreation, Burleson Public Library and Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce. Rio Brazos Master Naturalists will be there and Center for ASD will be passing out solar viewing glasses (while supplies last.)

Earth Day Celebration

Your kids will love this! What better way to celebrate Earth Day than by spending time outside enjoying nature? Come explore the outdoors and participate in fun activities. BRiCk staff will hand out goodie bags to the first 50 kiddos. Activities include education about ancient plants & animals, a nature frame activity, upcycled bookmark-making, making seed balls, complimentary drawing sets, and live animals up close!

Arbor Day Celebration

Plant 20 trees and enjoy refreshments with your BTX Parks department. In 2024, the City of Burleson celebrates its 35th year as a recognized Tree City USA participant. The Tree City USA program is a national program that provides the framework for community forestry management for cities and towns across America.

SpringFest 2024

Cleburne Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the partnership with the Historic Downtown Association to bring the community SpringFest 2024. This free community event will provide live music at Market Square Venue and the Kids Zone area.

Far Out Family Campout

Parks and Recreation is hosting the popular Far Out Family Campout and Fishing Adventure. The overnight event kicks off at 1 pm on Saturday and wraps up at 8 am at Bailey Lake. We will have archery lessons, fishing, a campfire, hot dog dinner, and s'mores. Bring your own tent, fishing pole, and bait.
