Beginnings
Erica was born in Los Angeles, California, and spent her early years in Mexico, where her father was born and raised, before her family settled in Fort Worth. At sixteen, she moved to Johnson County and graduated from Keene High School in 1997. Not long after, she met her husband, Kelly, at a Christian camp, and they married in February 2003. After several years in Missouri, they planted roots in Joshua in 2005, where they have built a life and raised their three children, all active in the Joshua school district. Over the past twenty years, she and her husband have owned rental properties and enjoyed remodeling, flipping, and selling homes, experiences that naturally led her to pursue real estate as a career.
Work & Skills
Her professional background is grounded in customer service, a foundation she believes is essential in real estate. She has worked as a waitress, in retail, as a receptionist, and currently serves part time as a substitute teacher at Joshua High School. Each role has strengthened her communication skills, professionalism, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. As a brand new agent, she brings enthusiasm, determination, and a genuine love for helping others. She is outgoing, easy to talk to, detail oriented, resourceful, and never afraid of hard work, always committed to finding a way to serve her clients well.
Priorities
Outside of real estate, she finds joy in cooking and hosting friends and family in her home. She loves gardening, thrift shopping, exploring flea markets, and giving new life to overlooked treasures. Much of her free time is spent cheering on her sons at their sporting events and enjoying the close knit community of Joshua, as well as nearby Burleson and Cleburne. She appreciates the friendly, down-home culture of the area and treasures her faith in Jesus as the foundation of her life.
Why LEAGUE?
“I chose LEAGUE because the slogan, #ReadytoServe truly stood out to me. It aligns closely with my own values and reminds me of the Bible verse, Acts 20:35, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ I have found in my own life that I feel most fulfilled when I’m giving and pouring into others, and that is the mindset I plan to bring into my real estate career.”
