Amy Herford

Beginnings
Amy Herford was born at Fort Riley, Kansas, and raised in Abilene, Texas. She attended Hardin-Simmons University, where she earned a Bachelor of Behavioral Science degree with a Specialization in Reading. It was there that she met her husband, Jimmy, in 1995. They married and, in 1999, moved to the metroplex, where they have built a happy life together for the past 25 years. Amy is the proud mother of two daughters: Duncan, who is currently attending Dallas Baptist University, and Kody, who attends school in Burleson.

Work & Skills
Amy Herford brings 25 years of teaching experience to her real estate career, having taught Elementary, Middle School, and High School. Her background in education equips her with the ability to clearly explain the complex process of buying and selling homes to her clients, ensuring that no detail is overlooked. Amy’s organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, honed through years of lesson planning and classroom management, make her an exceptional real estate agent. Additionally, her approachable and friendly nature helps her connect with clients, making them feel comfortable and confident throughout their real estate journey. As she transitions from teaching to real estate, Amy is excited to continue helping people find a place to call home.

Priorities
Amy Herford deeply values spending quality time with her family and friends. Her family attends Lifegate Church in Burleson, where their faith plays a central role in their lives. Amy cherishes the vibrant community and rich culture of Fort Worth, with Joe T Garcia’s and the Stockyards being among her favorite local spots. Her strong faith, close-knit family, and cherished friendships are the cornerstones of her life, providing her with strength and inspiration both personally and professionally.
